Most weekends you’ll find me running after my daughter in Stationers Park or getting muddy with her in Priory Park. I started JoeAI because I want to help local businesses.

AI is moving fast

When ChatGPT launched in late 2022 it changed everything. But honestly, the thinking behind it wasn’t new to me.

I’d spent years in SEO doing exactly what AI promises. Automating the repetitive stuff. Finding ways to save time. Looking for smarter ways to grow. Whether that was working with Unilever across brands like Dove, Magnum and Hellmann’s, helping London & Partners grow Visitlondon.com to 30 million visitors a year, or leading SEO for Volkswagen across 13 countries, the question was always the same. How do we do more with less, and do it better?

AI just made that possible at a scale I hadn’t seen before.

I could see immediately what it meant for businesses. Not the hype. The practical stuff. The time it saves. The work it speeds up.

But the businesses that needed it most were being left behind. The independent shops, the local accountants, the estate agents, the restaurants on the high street. Big agencies weren’t talking to them. And owners were already stretched. Rent, rates, the day to day of running a business. It’s a lot.

What I do

I help local business owners understand AI and put it to work. No jargon. No overwhelm. Just practical steps that save time and help your business grow.

I’ve been doing this at a high level for over ten years. I grew one client’s revenue by £4 million in a year.

I helped Volkswagen overtake Tesla in global online market share. Now I want to bring that to North London.

Why local

Because I know what it’s like to build something from scratch. I was the strategic lead at Protein Haus, a London food startup that grew to seven locations. I also coach basketball. I understand teams and I understand the grind.

I’m based in Crouch End and I want to see North London succeed. The independent businesses, the local high streets, the people building something. That’s genuinely why I’m doing this.
